We dry single stems in silica gel so they hold their shape. We design into a shadow box so they feel almost like the fresh blooms from your big day. Colors may change and fade depending on the flower variety. Shadow box colors and sizes are customizable. Price range from $200 - 400.

What it looks like to work with Shady Hill:

We grow over 90% of our flowers. Things like sunflowers grow in as little as 60 days while some popular blooms take over 100 days to grow. We will share all of our blooms in season during the time of your wedding/event. If we dont have it, we source from other local farms before wholesale ordering. We love growing flowers right here in the Shenandoah Valley since most florals are from outside of the US.

Fill out our form so we can see your floral desires, like themes, colors, items wanted, and budget; this gets you thinking if you aren’t sure. After review, we will reach out to schedule a free consultation (phone, video, or in person) to discuss. From there, we will send a contract for your big day.

After our meeting, you will see our proposal and projected cost. We add your information to a contract. Once the contract is signed, your wedding date and flowers are reserved!

We offer floral preservation so you can have a piece of your big day forever. We use silica gel to dry out flowers so they hold shape and color. We arrange them in a shadow box for hanging. You pick your shadow box color and can choose to have a program from your wedding included.

We have a list of participating coffee shops (this means they are extra awesome and help us promote this product, however, all coffee shops are available to order from as long as they are open.

Are you searching for farm-fresh flowers to brighten up your day or to gift to someone special? Then Kathy's Flower Subscription is perfect for you! You will receive unique flower bouquets for six weeks throughout our blooming season. You can pick them up at our homestead or have them delivered locally on a Monday or Friday.
Flower season begins strong in June. To subscribe, add to your cart, then we will send you a PDF and email to share with the person you gifted it to. We will work out the details on dates once the season gets closer.
Each bouquet is priced at about $18, so you get six for $110. This is a better deal than our regular bouquet stand cost and a portion of these proceeds goes towards our “Flowers for Hope” program sending flowers to Hospice and Assisted Living.
