This idea came to me after seeing other localities enjoy Flower Frolics. Only this time, I wanted it to be local everything. Our goal is for you to feel connected to your farmers and community. Where there is connection there is belonging and we know it will be a fun time.

Reserve your ticket to frolic into Woodstock businesses and build your bouquet one stem at a time. Some of our businesses are offering flower specials to our ticket holders as an added bonus. All participating businesses are within frolic (walking, running, or galloping) distance.

Shady Hill Homestead, Nana’s Blue Greenhouse, and Golden Acres Flower Farm are our farmers bringing the fresh stems for this event. Woodstock businesses offer a day full of adventure with local eats, shopping, and creativity. Ten businesses will have flower stems for you to build your bouquet and even more will be open for the day to welcome you.

Event Breakdown:

Date: September 19th, rain or shine!

Tickets: $35 per person. (The first 20 will get a free Flower Frolic tote bag.) Purchase tickets on Eventbrite OR in person at Bonfire Bookstore & Yarnery or Flour to Fork.

Time: 10 am - 4 pm; rolling. You must check in by 2 pm to ensure enough time to frolic. Business hours for our participating businesses will be noted on your map for the day, but most will be open for the entire period. Come as you are when you’re able during this timeframe.

Check-In: Any time from 10 am - 2 pm; check-in on the lawn of the courthouse (closest address for GPS: 112 S Main St, Woodstock, VA 22664). There, we will have a record of your ticket purchase. To begin, you will receive a container, a map of places to frolic for flowers, and the specials of the day.

Frolicking: Visit up to 10 businesses with flowers. They are marked with a "STEM STOP" sign. Participating businesses will be on your map and we encourage you to visit other locations as well while you are in town. As you visit a location, someone at the business will mark your map to indicate you have stopped there for a flower stem. Choose one stem from each business to add to your bouquet. You should end your frolic with up to 10 stems.

Flower Specials: Stay tuned on social media and email to hear about the flower specials different businesses will be offering for the day.

Parking: Carpool with a friend or come on your own. There is public parking available at the town lot across from the movie theatre, a lot behind Woodstock Cafe, and street parking.
